Wholesale raisins by variety
Three varieties, each with its own grade ladder, its own buyers and its own page of specifications.
Black is the volume line. Sun dried and seedless, graded A, B and commercial, and bought mostly by sweet units, namkeen lines and dry fruit wholesalers who want sweetness and a lower rate per kilo more than a perfect colour. Grade A runs 12-16 mm and commercial drops to a mixed 8-13 mm. Tolerances, carton formats and how we quote are on black raisins wholesale.
Green is the belt's signature and our largest bulk product. Long, pale and shade dried, in premium select at 18-22 mm, grade A at 15-18 mm and grade B below that. Repackers and retail chains take the top of the ladder. Sweet units and food processors take grade B, where length stops mattering. Golden is the smallest line and the first to run short, usually around the turn of the year. Jumbo at 16-20 mm with grade A below it, amber and plump, sulphur treated and declared as E220. Bakeries, rusk units and hamper packers buy it because the colour survives an oven. Supply windows and the jumbo tolerances are on golden raisins wholesale.
Grade names in this trade are convention rather than law, so every quote we send names the length band and the colour and moisture limits it refers to. The full ladder is on raisin grades, and the measurements each lot is held to are on raisin quality specifications.

Wholesale raisin price, and why we quote it on the day
We do not publish a wholesale rate card. India makes its raisins once a year, between February and April, and the rate on a named grade moves every week after that with arrivals at the Tasgaon market yard, with cold storage stocks and with festival demand. A number printed in March is wrong by June. So you get a firm figure for the exact grade and quantity, held for 48 hours, and a fresh one when you reorder.

Who buys bulk raisins from us
Most of our bulk raisins go to four kinds of buyer, and each wants something different from the same lot. Bakeries want golden that holds its colour and a moisture level that does not wet the crumb, which is covered on raisins for bakeries. Sweet manufacturers want black at a rate that works at production scale, on raisins for sweet manufacturers.

Certified organic raisins
We are not certified organic and we will not sell our lots as though we are. Buyers searching for organic raisins suppliers in India need paperwork that names a certifying body and a scope, and ours would not stand up to that. If your specification genuinely requires certified material, say so at enquiry and we will tell you plainly that we cannot serve it rather than send a sample and hope. Seeded raisins and munakka
Every lot we grade is seedless, so we are not the seeded raisins suppliers some buyers are looking for. Munakka in particular is a separate trade with its own grapes, its own rate and its own buyers, and pretending otherwise would only waste a carton and a week.
