Shop all raisins
Black, green and golden raisins from the Sangli-Tasgaon belt, packed in 250g, 500g and 1kg. Buy kismis online direct from the belt it is grown in: every pack carries its packing date, and orders above ₹999 ship free across India.
Which kismis to buy
Most people buy kismis out of habit rather than choice. The three varieties come off the same vines and differ mainly in how they are dried, which changes the taste and what they suit.
Which pack size to buy
Every variety comes in the same three sizes. The larger the pouch, the less you pay per kilo, because the packing and the courier cost roughly the same whichever size goes in the box.
The full rate card, including what each size works out at per kilo, is on today's kismis prices.
How delivery works
Orders are packed and dispatched from Tasgaon within 24 to 48 working hours. Inside Maharashtra the parcel usually takes 2 to 4 days; everywhere else in India, 4 to 7 days, depending on the pincode and the courier.
Delivery is free above ₹999. Below that a flat ₹59 applies, shown before you pay, and cash on delivery adds ₹29 for handling. A tracking link goes out on WhatsApp and email the moment the parcel is picked up.
We ship pan-India from one place, so the pack price is the same whichever city you are in. There is no local rate card and no surcharge.
Buying raisins you cannot touch first
The honest difficulty with buying kismis online is that you cannot pick up a handful and feel whether the lot is dry. Two things make up for it. Every pouch carries the date it was packed, so you can see how long ago the lot came off the racks rather than guessing. And lots are kept separate rather than blended, so what you get is one grade, not a mix.
When it arrives, the pack should feel dry, the pieces should separate rather than clump, and the colour should be even across the pouch. What to look for in a good lot goes through it properly.
If a sealed pack reaches you damaged, or the wrong item turns up, tell us within 3 days with a photo and we replace it or refund it. Opened packs cannot be returned, because raisins are a ready-to-eat food. Returns policy.
Buying raisins online, briefly
Raisins are graded by size, colour and moisture, not by brand. A pack that looks uniform, feels dry to the touch and separates easily is usually a good lot, whichever variety you pick.
If you cook with raisins daily, the 1kg packs work out cheaper per kilo. If you are buying for a shop, bakery or sweet unit, use the wholesale desk instead of the retail cart.
